Job Purpose / Objective

To Enhance ADC Service Quality & Implement ADC Continuous Improvement Process in the Field, Conduct MS Operational Audits  & Lead SQ Campaigns , Support SQM in Downhole & Operations related Investigations.

Key Accountabilities 1

  • The role of SQ Champion is to drive CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE through Execution efficiency and behavioral changes & comply QHSE & Operational standards across ADC front-end and support teams in support of SQ Manager. These interventions are through Field visits, intera departmental meetings with Consent of SQ Manager. 
  • The SQ Champion key role is to encourage, guide & influence the Operations team to achieve the expected behavior and efficiency standards & comply in accordance with company policies & guidelines provided by SQ Department. 
  • Support Service Quality & Operations in SQI investigations whenever assigned & to identity triggers for a customer dissatisfaction and assist SQ Manager to implement trainings in co-ordination with the Training team whenever required or assigned.
  • Mentor the Field Personals on Downhole Problems associated with complex Wells geometry and Support SQ Investigation teams on required Engineering calculations if Required.  
  • Support SQ Department in introducing, implementing and monitoring processes to manage change, encourage team spirit and communication between rig teams and across locations (cultural integration) to cover the gap of communication between Office & Field.
  • Support SQ Department in Field Testing Phases of newly/ Existing Applications associated with Operations & Performance. 
  • Ensure ADC Services and process quality complies with internal & customer requirements and ensure alignment with industry standards (ISO/API Q2), customer standards and other applicable industry standards and notify SQ Manager of any non-compliance reported.
  • Support SQ Department/Operations to Develop & Field Test processes and procedures and simplify complex processes to assist the organization in achieving Optimization goals. Proactively identify areas to enable the organization’s shift toward process intervention. Oversee the implementation and effective deployment of process and procedure changes across the fleet.
  • Create and plan measures and metrics to integrate Quality Assurance with business drivers
  • Manage the QA/QC –Field team effectively communicating with them and leading them to achieve Optimization goals in ADC organization and report same to SQ Manager. 
  • Review seminars information and industry literature for trends and recommend opportunities for the organization to Service Quality Manger. Use it and maintain training to enhance the organization.
  • Support Service Quality in implementation of standard Works & coordinate with Field teams for measure of its compliance as per instructions &  cross check whether newly developed standards complies with customer requirements &  rightly implemented in Field . 
  • Assist Operations SQ department to Develop( If Required) and implement processes (both equipment based and Operational) to achieve compliance with QHSE regulations of both ADC & client along with SQ Manager
  • QAQC DRS Reporting system & report noncompliance and mentor Field personals from user interface
  • Train RS,s on QAQC Saudi Aramco reports based on guidelines of SQ & communicate with respective Rig managers & Rig Superintendents for required corrections
  • DRS Adherence checks especially which are related to the NPT and KPI performances.

Key Accountabilities 2

  • Field Testing of Standardization Project
  • Providing support on the well control equipment audits to check the compliance in regards to Aramco Well Control manual & Provided Check list. 
  • Providing support on Best Drilling Practices/Norms and avoiding mishandling of equipment.
  • Raising the competency of the drillers for the downhole problems. Eg. Best practices during stuck pipe, losses, well control scenario’s etc.
  • Enforcing Daily Drillers CL/SID’s usage at the rig site, drills on Trip Sheets, and handover notes QAQC as per industry standard & best practices.
  • Execute performance Improvement Campaigns whenever assigned by department.

Key Accountabilities 3

Relevant Experience/ Skills – Minimum

  • 10 + years of experience in operations related to Oil & Gas Services.
  • Directional Drilling / Drilling Engineering / Tool Pusher Experience +/- 5 Years 
  • Having some IT related Experience will be Preferred.
