Job Purpose / Objective
He is single point of contact for the Operations Division to get information on the delivery status of critical orders and the escalation of all Supply Chain related matters.
Key Accountabilities 1
- Critical orders typically include Assets, Financial Inventory and Non-Stock Materials. They can include other specific orders tagged by the Rig.
- Monitor Promised delivery time / date (PDD).
- Facilitates interactions between Rig and Supply Chain team.
- He is informed on escalation from Supply Chain team to Rig (late greenlight approvals), and contributes to their resolution when required.
- Raises Emergency Orders to Supply Chain Service Center (after working hours & during holidays) whenever the Rig or the circumstances call for it.
- Is as much as possible physically present at the premises of the Division served, unless called away for specific tasks related to the job position.
- Participates regularly to Operations meetings to be up-to-date on Segment news, and communicates the updates regularly to the Distribution team.
- He is responsible to monitor Supply Chain performance on all orders for the Rig and to share this performance with Operations.
- Reports and investigates any process deviation to ensure continuous improvement on service quality.
- Manages Service Quality reviews regarding deliveries.
- Conducts root-cause analysis, builds and coordinate improvement action plans.
- Provides feedback to update standard lead times on Division legs.
- Coordinate with SC to conduct Annual physical inventory on rigs warehouses.
- Support the RM to set the plan to execute the yearly Major Maintenance.
- Track & report major Maintenance planned Vs actual cost.
- Support RM in yearly budget process to have proper price estimate based on real quotation prior to approve the budget.
- Frequent rig visits with RM & rig buyers.
- Alert & guide RM & rigs for warehouse inventory values by monitoring stock orders & reception.

Relevant Experience/ Skills – Minimum
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in handling procurement/ logistics for Drilling Rigs.
- Must be knowledgeable in the field of equipment Management, Procurement, Inventory, Logistics and Order follow-up processes.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of Drilling equipment and their manufactures and suppliers globally and in the local market.
