Job Purpose

To provide comprehensive leadership and oversight for the HR Information Systems (HRIS), ensuring effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance of HR systems and processes. The role supports informed HR decision-making, leads a team of HRIS professionals, and drives continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a long-term HRIS strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Oversee daily operations and administration of the HRIS system.
  • Identify and implement system improvements and upgrades.
  • Manage user access and security protocols to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with IT for system integrations and maintenance.
  • Lead and manage the HRIS team, including coaching and performance management.
  • Analyze and improve existing HR processes for efficiency.
  • Design and maintain documentation for HR procedures.
  • Develop and implement new HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain data quality standards and lead HR data analytics strategies.
  • Generate and analyze HR reports to support strategic decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with HR and data privacy regulations.
  • Maintain records of yearly evaluations and employee appraisals.
  • Develop and archive job descriptions for all roles.
  • Supervise the HR archiving process and monthly reporting.
  • Monitor and maintain HR-related company policies and procedures.

Required Competencies & Skills

  • Strong leadership and project management capabilities.
  • Proven experience in HRIS team management and system improvement.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Excellent understanding of HR processes and compliance standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • SAP Certification or HRIS/SAP HCM related certifications.
