Job Purpose

The Asset Planning Engineer is responsible for the management, performance, and lifecycle optimization of physical assets, such as equipment, infrastructure, and facilities. The role ensures assets are maintained, upgraded, and utilized efficiently to maximize return on investment, minimize downtime, and support the organization’s strategic objectives. Also responsible for supporting the asset registry, capitalization process within the organization, physical inventory of Assets, Assets held for sale process.

Total Years of Experience (Minimum)

  • 7 years of relevant experience in asset management, maintenance engineering, or a similar role in oil & gas industry.

Relevant Experience

  • Familiarity with asset management frameworks, maintenance methodologies and data analysis tools.
  • Experience with asset management systems is preferred.
  • Experience in a technical role in the oil & gas industry

Education / Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Equivalent Experience

Certifications

Asset Management Professional (CAMP)
