Job Purpose / Objective

He will provide a secure and timely driving services to transport passengers and/or materials. Deliver payment transfers to the bank and/or the suppliers assist with postage and with pick up of office purchases, including flight tickets and any other tasks required by head of administration or his substitutes.

Key Accountabilities 1

• Serve as focal point of contact as defined by Domestic Standard Operations Procedures.
• Understands and complies with requirements of ADC Driving Policy, Journey Management Procedure, local area JM plan and vehicle inspections
• Completes the required driving and JM trainings as per ADC requirements and documented.
• Keeps a valid driving license and vehicle registration/insurance and all other associated required   documents 
• Attends all Pre Job/ Convoy/departure meetings and understands the risk associated with the trip
• Conducts pre-trip vehicle inspections before each trip
• Safety performing the move activities promptly and efficiently.
• Attend all Safety Meetings including pre-move meetings.
• Familiar with roads, terrain, know the destination.
• Follow instructions and directives given by the Supervisor 
• Ensure compliance with all Departments of Transportation and Traffic rules and regulations
• Take rest periods during trips 15 minutes every two hours
• Report serious mechanical problems or any accident to direct Supervisor and Journey management center.
• Follow accident procedures if an accident occurs reporting it immediately to the Supervisor and to Journey management.
• Take special precautions while driving and Comply with ADC driving policy
• Keep the vehicle in good shape and clean.

Relevant Experience/ Skills – Minimum

• Three years’ experience as a heavy-duty driver.
• Experienced to drive operate Buses, pickups and light vehicles as well.
• Good Communication Level in English.
• Minimum acceptable age is 27 years old.
• Holder of “Public - Heavy Duty Driving License.
