Job Purpose
The Assistant Rig Superintendent plays a vital role in supporting the Rig Superintendent and ensuring the efficient, safe, and cost-effective operation of assigned drilling rigs. You will directly oversee day-to-day rig operations, including supervising drilling activities to guarantee safety and efficiency. Additionally, you will manage the rig site training and certification programs for all personnel. The Assistant Rig Superintendent also acts as the Rig Superintendent when designated, assuming full responsibility for rig operations and leadership.

- Additional Key Accountabilities:
Total Years of Experience (Minimum)
8 years' experience in drilling operations
Relevant Experience
- 2 years of experience in a supervisory role on drilling rigs as an Assistant Rig Superintendent (ARS) or above
- Proven experience in overseeing and optimizing drilling operations.
- Strong understanding of wellbore, drilling practices, and well control principles.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, delegate tasks effectively, and resolve complex issues.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring others for professional development.
