Job Purpose

The Operations Manager takes full responsibility for overseeing all aspects of rig operations, encompassing onshore or offshore activities across all company bases. This leadership role ensures efficient, safe, and cost-effective service delivery across the fleet, strictly adhering to industry standards, company policies, and environmental regulations. To maximize performance and minimize distractions for the Rig managers, The Operations Manager must ensure that Rig Managers are essentially solely focused on safe and efficient rig operations and that that they receive adequate support from the diverse administrative functions.

Total Years of Experience (Minimum)

  • 15 years of experience

Relevant Experience

  • Experience working on various drilling rigs (onshore/offshore) and well types (exploratory, development).
  • Proven track record of leading and motivating drilling crews to achieve safe and efficient well completion.
  • Experience in well planning, wellbore control procedures, and rig optimization techniques.
  • Strong understanding of drilling rig systems, equipment, and maintenance procedures.

Education / Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
High School

Certifications

Valid IWCF or IADC well control certificate – Supervisor Level
Stuck pipe certification
HSE
